I designed and built these desks from scratch trying to make a business out of it years ago. I wanted to make a desk built like a tank but with modern, minimalist sensibilities. I think I accomplished that. I ultimately gave up on the project because marketing is just too expensive! I ultimately sold about a dozen of them though.
Steel, powder-coated frame (white or black), premium engineered ply tops (Beech, Bamboo or Apple Ply) and my own custom leveling foot system! Everything was flat pack shipped in my own packaging and super easy to assemble with the best hardware.
